Cricket Trailer

The Cricket Trailer is really unique! Designed by NASA architect, Garret Finney:

...worked on the "habitation module" (NASA-speak for the place where astronauts eat, sleep, bathe, relax - their home away from home). The "space" architect created the Cricket Trailer, combining his NASA experience with his love of the outdoors. He worked to create an innovative lightweight, compact, and flexible small environment in which to travel and explore the world we live in.
The result is Cricket.

Thinking about possibilities

Our family enjoys camping. Tall Daddy and I started with a 3-person (really 2-person) tent and that was fine when B was 16mo. But when we went camping when Mini Little was 7weeks old and Medium Little was 3yo, that teeny tent was WAY too cozy. So we moved up to a 4-person tent (REI Base Camp 4 Tent). Love the Base Camp! But as the girls got older, we progressed to a 6-person tent (REI Kingdom 6 Tent). Love this tent, too! Not so much in love with the 4-hour set up and breakdown.

Our first thought was getting a Teardrop, but it seems that it might be way too small and possibly impossible for all four of us to fit inside.

What about a Pop Up or some other kind of trailer?

Preliminary research leads us to the following three contenders:
